Origin Unknown.
The primary source for our ancestors' point of origin may be found in marriage records. Usually the notation includes the name of the parents as well. However in some instances those records have been elusive.
Our ancestors who emigrated from unknown regions of France are listed below. The dates reflect the year they arrived in Canada if known, otherwise it is the date of their earliest appearances in the records there:
- Sébastien Provencher (1661).
- Jean Dania (1665).
- Marie Angelier (1669).
- Marguerite Raisin (1670).
- Anne Leper (1673).
- André Robert dit Le Breton (1694).
