Pierre Surprenant dit Sansoucy
and Anne Têtu.

Pierre, 19, married Anne Têtu on 27 November 1702. She was the 18-year-old daughter of Jacques Têtu dit LaRivière and Marguerite Beauvais. Both Anne and her sister Catherine are ancestors of ours.

Over the course of their 34 year marriage Anne would give birth to 11 children including our ancestor Antoine on 11 January 1712. Neither of the twins born in 1719 survived.

They raised their children in La Prairie where other of our ancestors resided including: Clément Lériger and his sons Pierre and Paul, the Pinsonneaus, Beaudins, Bourassas, Dupuis and Boutins.

Antoine was married in Longueuil in 1735. His parents lived in LaPrairie until Anne's death at the age of 51 on 8 July 1736. Pierre died 2 June 1739 in Montreal.
