Grafted Branches.

Many family trees have a branch or two grafted to it over the years. These sprout from oral traditions, misunderstanding and perhaps some embellishment. But to appreciate the beauty of our own tree some limbs should be pruned. For instance, though some collateral lines did marry native Americans there is no known Indian ancestor in our direct lineage. Here are some other examples:
