Pierre Deniger and Catherine Têtu.
Pierre was 28 when he married the 16-year-old Catherine Têtu on 4 November 1705 in La Prairie. Both his parents had passed away by then.
The couple would have 12 children, though many lived a very short life. Our ancestor Marie-Madeleine Deniger was their 8th, born in La Prairie 11 June 1721.
The last child, Marie-Élisabeth, died just a few weeks after her father. Pierre Deniger dit Sansoucy, 52, passed away on the 15th of March 1730 in Saint-Lambert and was buried the following day in LaPrairie.
Catherine remarried five years later. She was 45 when she wed the 32-year-old Jean-Baptiste Babeau on 21 June 1735 in La Prairie. Catherine Têtu was 75 at her death on 30 May 1765.
